School Owned Instrument Returns

Please complete the following before submitting school owned instruments:

• Brass mouthpieces should be washed in warm, soapy water and cleaned with the mouthpiece brush before returning to the school. (Please do not use boiling water or the dishwasher – that could remove the plating.) 

• Please vacuum out cases before returning and wipe down the outside of the case with a mild cleaner.

• Remove all personal belongings from the case.

Dates for return

• Tuesday, May 6: 8th Grade Home Instruments

• Tuesday, May 13: Beginning Band Home Instruments

• Thursday, May 15: 8th Grade School Instruments, Non-returning advanced band home instruments

• Tuesday, May 20: Beginning Band School Instruments, Non-returning advanced band school instruments

Beginners that audition into advanced band will receive newly assigned instruments after returning the school owned instrument agreement. This process will occur the last week of school to prep for summer band.

Continuing current 7th grade advanced band members will use their currently assigned instruments throughout the summer.
